Volume 2 Issue 9 - September 2006

Welcome to DestinationGreen!

Mistakes happen, but it pains all of us at The Ashkin Group when they occur in DestinationGreen. On a brighter note, it’s how we respond to our mistakes in business that make all the difference going forward and so, I would like to begin this month by extending my apologies to all of you for publishing an incorrect “Green Selling Tip” article last month. This month we got it right and are pleased to share the correct article -- the first of a two-part series about selling entryway matting systems.

Other great articles in this issue include our second "extraordinary" sales insights from our new monthly columnist, Larry Galler. Also, we share our recent interview with an international green building services engineer and offer up the results of key green catagories within the 2006 U.S. Lodging Survey.

All the best and happy selling! -- Steve Ashkin
