Welcome to DestinationGreen!

ashkin

In last month’s DestinationGreen we expressed our concern that Green Seal was excluding 95% of the interested stakeholders from actively participating in the revision of GS37 (standard on Industrial and Institutional Cleaners).  Based on our concerns and the letters sent from you, our loyal DestinationGreen readers, we have prevailed and Green Seal has opened participation to all.  This will make the standard stronger and I sincerely appreciate your help on this.  You can be assured that we will keep you up-to-date and if you have any questions, please let us know.” Read More

P.S. Check out our new Question of the Month feature. We started it in response to our reader survey. I will answer one question each month of broad general concern to our readers. Submit your questions to editor@destinationgreen.com.  I look forward to reviewing your questions.

Sales Tips for Extraordinary Achievers: What is your excuse?

Article 1

One of the most frequently used excuses for losing a sale is the price excuse.  Someone else gave the prospect a lower price.  End of story.  But I have a question:  If the competition is the guy with the lowest price how does Rolls Royce, Gucci, and Tiffany stay in business?  They don’t sell the cheapest stuff on the planet.
