Happy Belated Earth Day!

ashkin

My apologies for the delay getting out this month’s DestinationGreen, but we have been in the thick of the Green Seal proposed revision of GS37.  But we can’t wait any longer.  And for those of you who are new readers of DestinationGreen this letter of urgency is thankfully not the norm, especially considering all the positive things that our industry is doing.  However, due to the timing and importance of this event (GS37 revision), I feel that it is important to speak up publicly.

INTRODUCING GREEN CLEANING FOR DUMMIES

Green Cleaning isn't for dummies, but it can seem daunting to uninitiated colleagues and customers. That's why David Holly and I wrote special a industry-focused edition of Green Cleaning for Dummies, recently published by ISSA. Our goal in writing it was to demystify and simplify green cleaning in order to break down the barriers to starting a Green Cleaning program. In a time when the concept of “green” is being applied to many things, Green Cleaning for Dummies provides important and practical information for building owners and facility managers, as well as cleaning product manufacturers, product distributors and service providers. It includes chapters on selecting green chemicals, green equipment, green paper, and other green cleaning tools and supplies.
